When We Were Kids

This exhibition at the Masonic Center of Winston Salem invites artists to submit original 2-dimensional fine art works completed within the past three years. Entry fee is $20 per artist for up to 3 works. The first 50 pieces of art accepted will be exhibited.

All 2-dimensional works must be professionally framed with wire attachment and ready to hang. No alligator-type hangers are permitted. Canvases must be framed or gallery wrapped with no visible staples or unpainted canvas, and wet paint will not be accepted. Works on paper should be protected by glass or Plexiglas. All types of 2D fine art media are accepted, including hand-pulled prints, original digital prints, and photographs. Mass-produced printed reproductions will not be exhibited. 3D work may be considered if it can be hung securely on the wall and is subject to approval. No nudes or offensive subjects are permitted, as this is a family venue.

Artwork dimensions may not exceed 50 inches horizontally or 48 inches vertically (including frame) or weigh more than 35 pounds. All work must be the exhibitor's original idea and created by the exhibitor, and cannot have been displayed in previous Masonic Center of Winston Salem exhibits unless it reflects the theme "When We Were Kids." Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background.
