About This Call

Millions of people from all over the world visit Sedona annually, each coming away with their own unique impression of the region. This exhibition invites artists to interpret what Sedona means to them through original art—expressing their feelings for this special place, whether good, bad, ugly, or amazing.

Eligible artists must be 18 years or older (emerging and professional artists welcome). Submit up to three JPEG images at 300 DPI minimum, with titles included in file names. Original art only; giclees are not accepted. Include the title, dimensions, medium, and price for each piece, along with a 75 to 250 word description of your submitted art and how your piece expresses what Sedona means to you. Entry fee is $30.

Application deadline is July 29, 2022. Artists will be notified by August 12, 2022. Accepted work can be hand delivered on September 1, 2022, or must be shipped (with return shipping label included) to arrive by September 1, 2022. The exhibition runs September 2-22, 2022 in the Special Exhibits Gallery at the Sedona Arts Center.
