We've Gone Wild!

We've Gone Wild! is a juried exhibition of works from local artists focused on wildlife. Artists living on Long Island and in the surrounding region are eligible, provided they can pick up and drop off work in person. All original media is acceptable, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry, and digital media.

Entries must be original artwork with no reproductions (except photography). All art must be for sale, and the gallery takes a 35% commission on sold pieces. The selling price must remain the same as submitted. Maximum piece size is 30" x 40" (including frame). Accepted work must be framed, wired, and ready to hang or display. Framed pieces 16" x 20" and larger must have plexiglass instead of glass. Jewelry pieces must be framed. Each submission must include artist name, work title, date, medium/materials description, and artist statement.

Entry fee is $35 for one piece; additional pieces can be submitted for $5 each. Up to two pieces per selected artist will be included in the exhibition. Work must be delivered in person to The Firefly Artists Gallery at 162 Main Street, Northport, NY between June 18-24, 2021. The exhibition runs June 26-July 31, 2021 in The Darcy Gallery (second floor). Artists must pick up work in person between August 1-4, 2021. A $5 per day storage fee applies for pieces left beyond August 4. Cash awards will be given for First, Second, and Third Place. Artists are responsible for insuring their own works. Note: The venue has no handicapped access and is located on the second floor of a historic building.
