Westsylvania Arts Festival 2025

The Indiana Arts Council presents the inaugural Westsylvania Arts Festival on Memorial Day Weekend, held in conjunction with the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival on the main street of historic Indiana, PA. The established music festival attracts at least 1,500 people to Downtown Indiana, featuring local, national and internationally known musicians. The festival is promoted through print, radio, and social media in regional cities including Johnstown, Altoona and Pittsburgh, all within an hour's drive.

Forty-five 10x10 booth spaces are available for $75 each, arranged at curbs and the center of the main street with two aisles between three rows of tents. Exhibitors must provide their own flame-retardant tent and are responsible for securing it against wind and rain without staking into pavement. All work must be original, handcrafted, and created by the approved artist. Kits, imports, and mass-produced items are not acceptable. Artists must submit four images of their work and one booth shot for jury review.

Vendors are also invited to apply to the Westsylvania Open Arts Exhibit, a juried exhibit in local galleries with awards including purchase prizes. The application is free with no jury fee. Selection is determined by professional quality of work and presentation, juried by representatives from the Indiana Arts Council, The Artists Hand Gallery, The Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival, and Downtown Indiana, Inc. Booth fees are refunded at 50% until April 1st, and cancelled fees can be applied to future shows for up to two years.
