Western Rendezvous

Annual Western Rendezvous Show hosted by the Spanish Peaks Arts Council (SPACe). The exhibition seeks artwork exploring the concept of "The American Rocky Mountain West," including scenery, culture, heritage, lifestyles, and other aspects of the Rocky Mountain West, past and present. Judge: Doug Candelaria.

Eligibility: Open to artists nationally. All artwork must be original and completed within the last five years. All wall works must be ready to hang; 3D works must be in one piece. All artwork must be for sale. Accepted artwork that differs significantly from the image in online submission will be disqualified.

Media: Painting, photography, hand-pulled prints, fiber, and mixed media. No giclee prints. Artworks must be within 30"w x 40"h including frame. Submit 1-3 images. Entry fee: $35.00 ($30 for SPACe members). Media fee: $5.00 per sample over maximum.

Awards: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200. Artists receive 65% commission from gallery sales (70% for SPACe members). The Spanish Peaks Arts Council handles all sales transactions.

Important Dates: Entry deadline May 15, 2019. Artist notification May 25, 2019. Shipping deadline June 11, 2019. Hand delivery June 14-15, 2019. Exhibition June 18 – July 20, 2019. Opening reception June 22, 2019. Unsold work pickup July 21, 2019.

Artist is responsible for all shipping and transit costs, including insurance. Return label must be included. Works may be hand-delivered or shipped via USPS only (no FedEx or UPS). Gallery does not insure artwork. Do not send glass.
