Weather

Weather is a 3-person exhibition taking place in May 2018 at Partners Gallery in Fort Bragg, California. The exhibition seeks artists whose work addresses issues related to heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, snow, or the effects of seasonal change.

Eligibility: Original work completed within the last two years in paintings, mixed media, sculpture, photography, or original prints. Video, installation, jewelry, and functional ware are not eligible. Only artists 18 years of age or older residing in California are eligible. Entry fee is $35.00. Applicants must submit 6-8 images of their work.

Specifications: Maximum dimensions for a single work cannot exceed 60 inches and must be suitably framed or wired ready for installation. Sculptures may not weigh more than 100 lbs. Image and frame size must be included in dimensions; sculpture weight must be specified. Selected works must be hand delivered in excellent condition and ready for installation on Monday, April 30, 2018 by 5:00 pm. Accepted entries may not be removed during the exhibition. Artists must pick up unsold work by 4:00 pm Sunday, May 27, 2018. Partners Gallery will exhibit selected artists' work on their website and publicize the show with an email announcement, printed exhibition cards, and press releases to appropriate publications.
