We Made This: An Art Fair Celebrating the Creative Power of Women

We Made This is a two-day art fair celebrating Women's History Month, taking place March 6-7, 2027 at The Machine Shop in Northeast Minneapolis. The fair will feature the work of approximately 65 women and gender-expansive artists across both floors of the historic venue. The event is free to attend and open to all.

This opportunity is open to women and woman-identifying artists, including cis women, trans women, and nonbinary or gender-expansive individuals who identify with womanhood. For artist duos or teams, at least 50% of the group must identify as a woman, and a woman-identifying artist must be on-site during all event hours. Artists must submit five images (four of current work and one booth image) along with a $25 non-refundable jury fee per media category. Applications are juried competitively, with approximately 150 applications submitted annually and 65 artists selected. Jury results will be emailed January 15, 2027.

Booth options include: standard 8x8 booths on the main floor ($375), corner 8x8 booths on the main floor ($450), or discounted 8x8 booths on the second floor ($275). Booth purchases open January 18, 2027 at 9am with a deadline of January 25, 2027. Artists retain 100% of sales and are responsible for sales tax collection. All work must be for sale and represented in application images. No AI art, buy/sell items, or items outside the juried media category are permitted. Artists must be on-site during all festival hours. Full refunds are available for cancellations by January 29, 2027; 50% refunds for cancellations between January 30 and February 5; no refunds after February 5. Application fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation date.
