WCU Fine Art Museum: North Carolina Art Educators Juried Exhibition 2014

Open to professional K-12 art educators ages 18 and older living in North Carolina. There are no restrictions on size or media, however, video artists selected must provide a projector or other means of display. Installation of new media is encouraged. Work must have been completed in the past two years. Entry fee is $20.00. Submit 1-5 images of your work.

The exhibition will award $1,000 in prizes including Best In Show ($500), second place ($300), and third place ($200). Best In Show will be featured on all promotional materials for the 2016 NC Art Educators Exhibition. Exhibiting artists will receive 10 postcards each featuring their work.

Accepted entries must be delivered by Friday, May 19, 2014. Artwork must arrive ready to display. The exhibition runs May 26 – July 18, 2014. Accepted entries can be picked up during museum hours beginning Monday, July 21, 2014 and must be picked up before Friday, July 25, 2014. The Fine Art Museum will provide return shipping for shipped work. The FAM carries insurance on artwork while on display. The museum is not responsible for the sale of artwork but will make a pricelist available; indicate if artworks are not for sale (NFS). The FAM reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for publicity purposes.
