About This Call
The 2013 Cullowhee Mountain Arts faculty invitational features the work of 21 contemporary artists working throughout the United States. This distinguished group of artists with national and international reputations will contribute art with a broad range of contemporary expressions in the following disciplines: Book Arts, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture.
Applicants must submit 6-12 images of their work. Artwork must arrive ready to display. Accepted entries must be delivered between May 19-23, 2014. The exhibition will run from June 16-July 25, 2014. Accepted entries can be picked up during museum hours beginning Monday August 4, 2014 and must be picked up before Friday August 8, 2014. Shipped packages will be mailed one week following the exhibit.
The WCU Fine Art Museum and Cullowhee Mountain Arts will print and distribute a poster for the exhibition and provide an electronic invitation. The Fine Art Museum carries insurance on artwork while on display. The museum is not responsible for the sale of artwork but will make a pricelist available. Artists should indicate if artworks are not for sale (NFS). The Fine Art Museum reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for publicity purposes.
