WCA-CO Mixed Media Show

The WCA-CO Mixed Media Show invites submissions of visual art that combines various distinct art media such as found objects, painting, graphite, altered book, assemblage, collage, or decollage. The exhibition will be juried by Patricia Calhoun, Editor-In-Chief of Westword, a Denver weekly. Calhoun's columns have been awarded the Golden Quill, the Unity Award, the National Women in Communications Prize, and the Education Writers Award, among other honors. She has been purchasing art and supporting artists for over 30 years.

Accepted artists' work will be exhibited at the Annex @ Core Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District, 900 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204. The exhibition runs from September 12-29, 2013. Submissions may be no larger than 30"x24" for 2D work or no larger than 12"x12"x5' and 25 lbs for 3D work. Artists may submit up to 3 works for a $25.00 entry fee. WCA-CO is the Colorado chapter of the national organization, Women's Caucus for Art. Annual membership is $60.00.
