WBCS Salon Show

The Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) invites artists to exhibit work at the 2025 Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse: The 24th Showhouse for a Cure, held May 31 to June 15, 2025. This exhibition supports breast cancer research and awareness. MARN will also award two artists the Showhouse Artist Residency, each receiving a one-week stay in a bright, airy loft within the Showhouse located along Milwaukee's lakefront. Week 1 Residency runs May 31 - June 7, 2025, and Week 2 Residency runs June 8 - June 15, 2025. Artists must provide their own materials; MARN will supply an easel, tarps, and a $50 gift certificate to Blick Art Supplies. To exhibit without residency consideration, mark your submission as "Exhibition Only".

Eligible media includes paintings, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, and blown glass (no computer-generated art). All works must be 2D or 3D originals, not copies or derivatives. Unframed artwork must measure between 6 x 6 inches and 24 x 24 inches; framed artwork must measure 625 square inches or less including the frame. Submit 1-3 images in JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB. Entry fee is $5.00 plus $5.00 media fee. Artwork must be available for sale; MARN retains a 30% commission on all sales, with proceeds mailed to the artist within 30 days of the show's closing.

All artwork must be properly finished and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers, brackets, or exposed glass edges). Each piece must have a label with the artist's name, title, medium, and retail price. In-person delivery is required to Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, 191 N Broadway, Suite 102, Milwaukee, WI 53202 on Friday, April 25 or Saturday, April 26, 2025 between 8:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. Artists must pick up unsold work on June 17-18, 2025 between 10 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. MARN will notify artists by April 18, 2025 of acceptance and residency selection. Entry deadline is April 13, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Submit entries online at https://www.callforentry.org/. No mail-in registration is available.
