Wayzata Art Experience 2026

The Wayzata Art Experience is a juried fine art festival in its 22nd year, held in downtown Wayzata along the shores of Lake Minnetonka. The festival welcomes 150 exceptional artists to an intimate lakeside setting and attracts more than 20,000 visitors annually from across the Twin Cities and West Metro region. The two-day outdoor celebration takes place June 27–28, 2026, with hours from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The festival utilizes an anonymous jury process conducted by a diverse panel of arts professionals who evaluate submissions based on quality, originality, craftsmanship, and consistency of body of work. All work must be original and handcrafted; reproductions and prints may comprise no more than 40% of the booth. Artists must be present in their booths for the entire duration of the show. Each booth space is approximately 11' x 11' and includes setup flexibility on Friday and/or Saturday morning, complimentary parking, overnight security, complimentary coffee and water, and booth sitters.

Awards include First, Second, and Third Place, each receiving a cash award, certificate of recognition, booth signage, automatic acceptance into the following year's show with all fees waived, and opportunity to be featured in next year's promotional materials. Jury fee is $40 (nonrefundable). Single booth space is $350; double booth space is $700. Booth fees are not refundable after April 21, 2026. Application deadline is March 23, 2026. Artists will be notified via email mid-April (week of April 13). Load-in is available Friday, June 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 27 from 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Load-out is Sunday, June 28 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
