Wayne Art Center Regional Juried Spring Open

Wayne Art Center's 2023 Regional Juried Spring Open is an exhibition featuring works in painting, drawing, printmaking, works on paper, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, metals, fiber and 3D printing technology. The exhibition runs from March 27 to April 29, 2023 at Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087.

Artists from PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, and Washington, DC who are 18 and older are eligible to submit up to two original works created after January 1, 2021. The entry fee is $45 for up to 2 artworks. Works must be hand-delivered and retrieved from Wayne Art Center; no shipped work will be accepted. 3D work should not weigh more than 70 lbs. All works must be for sale and remain on display throughout the exhibition. Collaborative work is accepted with all artists' names included on the application. Images should be at least 300 dpi resolution in JPEG format, under 5mb, with file names indicating the work title and view type (full or detail).

The juror is Peter Van Dyck, a painter and educator who has taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts since 2003. Prizes totaling $3,000 will be awarded and presented at the Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 3-5 pm. Accepted artists will be notified on February 24, 2023. Hand delivery of work is scheduled for Thursday, March 16 or Friday, March 17, 10am-5pm. Work retrieval is Saturday, April 29, 4-5pm or Monday, May 1, 10am-5pm.
