About This Call

Regional Juried Exhibition: "Water: More or Less" calls for art commenting on the role of water or sustainability within our environment. This exhibition is hosted by Richland College in Dallas, Texas.

Eligibility: Regional artists only. All artists must live in Texas or bordering states: Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas. All media accepted. Work must not exceed 30 lbs and must have been created within the last three years. Work display must be considered; video and projectors must be provided unless other arrangements are made. Audio and video works require still images to complete the entry; media can be mailed to Richland Gallery for the juror.

Entry Fee: $15 for 1 image and $5 for each additional image, with a maximum of 6 images. All entry fees will go towards Richland College Scholarships. Work samples: minimum 1, maximum 6 images. Juror: Paul Villinski. Awards: $1,500 will be presented at the juror's discretion. Accepted works will be published in a catalog commemorating the event. Exhibition opens January 30, 2010 at 9:00 am with opening reception 5:00-7:00 pm. Juror talk and awards presentation at 5:30 pm. Exhibition closes February 27, 2010. Artwork return: March 5-10, 2010.
