About This Call

Gallerium invites artists to submit work to War and Peace 2025, the 2nd annual juried exhibition, publication, and sales opportunity. The theme addresses the destruction of wars and the pursuit of peace, encouraging artists to explore a wide range of interpretations from inner conflicts to global warfare, resolutions, and the human spirit. Artists are encouraged to visualize the serenity of peace, the social, personal and emotional results of destructive wars and conflicts, and the importance of standing together as voices for victims of war and genocide.

Thematic areas for exploration include items and objects from conflicts, enemies and heroes, forgotten voices such as women in war and refugees, literature and media representations of war and peace, trauma and displacement, peace organizations and treaties, environmental impacts of war, symbols of hope, art as resistance, and abstract reflections on conflict and harmony. All personal interpretations, societal reflections, historical narratives, and visionary perspectives in any 2D or 3D medium are welcome. This opportunity is open to all artists worldwide working in any art medium.

Selected works will be showcased in the War and Peace 2025 International Exhibition presented on Artsy.net and published in the exhibition catalog. The exhibition runs from May 21 to July 21, 2025. Selected artists may have work featured in The Book of Arts publication, available in digital and premium print editions. Additional benefits include permanent online presence with artist profiles, exhibition catalogue featuring all artists, honorable mention awards for up to 10 outstanding artists with digital certificates, downloadable exhibition posters, artwork visibility badges, visitor feedback and ratings, performance insights and analytics, and a comprehensive promotional campaign. Submission is free; a selection fee applies only to selected artists.
