Wanderlust: A Virtual Juried Photo Exhibit Open Call

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers to participate in the "Wanderlust" virtual juried photo exhibit. This exhibition explores the theme of wanderlust - the invitation to explore the unknown, chase light down uncharted paths, and find beauty in both grand vistas and subtle details. Wanderlust encompasses both literal and metaphorical journeys, celebrating the thrill of discovering the extraordinary in the ordinary and the stories that unfold when curiosity drives you forward. Open to all photographers, emerging and professional, with all styles of photography welcome.

Submissions are juried by Joanne Henig, a curator and co-founder of PhotoArtPavilion.com with over 30 years of professional photography experience. Juried selections are based on clear center of interest, composition, focus and exposure, story, lighting, creativity, and uniqueness. The juror will select the top 50 or more images through a blind review process, with all decisions being final.

Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mentions ($35). The virtual reception will be held online February 26th, 2026 at 7 PM EST via Zoom, where award winners will be announced. Selected photographs will be displayed in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com in perpetuity. Entry fee is $37 for up to 5 images, with additional images at $3 each. Images must be JPEG format, 1200 pixels longest edge, 5MB or smaller, with no watermarks.
