Wallowa Valley Arts Festival (42nd Annual)

The 42nd Annual Wallowa Valley Arts Festival is the largest juried fine art exhibition in Eastern Oregon, held September 20-22, 2024, at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture in Joseph, OR. The festival is dedicated to promoting the arts and supporting artists, featuring representational/traditional realism and contemporary art from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

The festival accepts work in the following categories: Sculpture (wood, clay, stone, bronze, or other metal); Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor); Drawing (pastel, pencil, graphite, charcoal, ink, or combinations); Printmaking (woodblock, engraving, etching, monoprint, aquatint, linotype, lithography, silkscreen); Photography (including digital); and Other (glass, jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics, mixed media, or digital art). Work must be original and cannot have been displayed in a previous Wallowa Valley Arts Festival show. All accepted work must be made available for sale. Size constraints: 3-dimensional pieces cannot exceed 120" total (L+W+H), and 2-dimensional pieces cannot exceed 1600 square inches including framing.

Entry deadline is July 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to 3 pieces. Submit entries online via Call for Entry (callforentry.org) with 1 image per piece and a brief artist biography (150 words or less). Acceptance emails will be sent August 9-13, 2024. Hand-delivered artwork check-in is September 18, 2024 (11am-2pm). The opening reception is Friday, September 20 (7-10pm).
