Wallowa Valley Arts Festival - 2025 (43rd Annual)

The Wallowa Valley Arts Festival is the largest juried fine art exhibition in Eastern Oregon, held at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture in Joseph. The festival is dedicated to promoting the arts and supporting artists, featuring representational/traditional realism as well as contemporary art from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

The festival accepts work in the following categories: Sculpture (3-dimensional work in wood, clay, stone, bronze, or other metal); Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor); Drawing (pastel, pencil, graphite, charcoal, ink, or combinations); Printmaking (woodblock, engraving, etching, monoprint, aquatint, linotype, lithography, silkscreen); Photography (including digital); and Other (glass, jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics, mixed media, or digital art). Copies, kits, reproductions, or work done under instructor supervision are not eligible. Work must be original and must not have been displayed in a previous Wallowa Valley Arts Festival show. All accepted work must be made available for sale.

Entry is open to all artists. The entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to 3 pieces. Submissions are made online via Call for Entry (https://www.callforentry.org). Artists must submit 1 image per piece and provide a brief biography of 150 words or less. Size constraints: 3-dimensional pieces may not exceed 120 inches total (L+W+H); 2-dimensional pieces may not exceed 1600 square inches (approximately 40"x40" including framing). The deadline for entry is July 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury dates are August 1-9, 2025. Acceptance emails will be sent August 9-13, 2025. The festival runs September 20-22, 2025, with an opening night reception on Friday, September 20 (7-10 p.m.). Artists may leave artwork to hang through October 3.
