About This Call
Chicago Grand Gallery is accepting applications for its Wall Space Rental Program, offering Chicago artists a flexible and affordable opportunity to showcase their work in an established gallery setting.
The rental space is 8 x 8 feet, located at 2842 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL. The rental rate is $300 per month on month-to-month terms. Artists retain 100% of all sales with no commission taken. The program includes exposure during gallery openings and public events, promotion of work via Instagram Stories, Facebook, and email newsletters, and the opportunity to propose workshops or events in the space during the rental period.
Application requirements include an artist statement (max 125 words), professional CV (up to 2 pages, showing 4+ years of active art practice), and high-quality photos of work to be displayed. All work must be approved by the gallery before installation. Artists are responsible for delivering ready-to-hang artwork, while all installations and takedowns are managed by the gallery. Final decisions about placement and presentation are made by the gallery team to ensure cohesion with the space and ongoing programming. Spots are limited. Contact [email protected] to apply or inquire.
