Wall Calendar Photo Contest 2023

Brooks Resources Corporation, a real estate development company based in Bend, Oregon, invites photographers to enter the 2nd annual Wall Calendar Photo Contest. The winning photograph will be featured on the 2023 Brooks Resources Wall Calendar and the selected artist will receive a $1,500 grand prize. The Wall Calendar is distributed free to area residents, visitors, and businesses throughout Central Oregon.

The theme for the 2023 Wall Calendar is "Hope is on the Horizon." Photographers are invited to submit original photographs that capture the essence of Central Oregon and relate to this theme. Each submission must include a brief artist statement (1-3 sentences) explaining how the photograph relates to the theme. Artists may submit up to 3 images ideally created within the last 3 years. Selected photographs must be high-resolution, capable of printing at poster size (preferably at least 18" on the longest side at 300dpi).

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and live in Oregon. The contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers. All photographs must be original work taken by the artist. Photographs including recognizable faces require signed written consent from subjects. Minor editing is permitted, but photographs cannot be altered by removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects. Artists retain all rights to their images; however, by entering, they agree that submitted photographs may be used by Brooks Resources for the 2023 Wall Calendar printing and promotional purposes on their website and social media, with artist credit provided. Application deadline: October 28, 2022. Notifications of finalists will be sent in early November 2022, with the prize awarded in November 2022. The Wall Calendar will be printed and distributed mid-December 2022 through Spring 2023.
