About This Call
Art Rapids is seeking artist applications for original sculptures suited to an outdoor park setting. Selected sculptures will be exhibited in the Walk of Art at Elk Rapids Day Park, owned by Antrim County and located in Elk Rapids, Michigan.
A panel of three jurors representing diverse perspectives from the art community, led by Walk of Art Coordinator Nicky Tobin, will select works that demonstrate intimate connections between art, place, and the natural environment. Sculptures created with commercial molds, patterns, kits, or copies are ineligible.
Applicants must submit an Application & Agreement by March 1, 2024, along with 3 to 10 representative digital images, sketches, or a scale maquette of the proposed sculpture. Digital images must be in JPEG format and submitted on a CD or by email. The entry fee is $25.00. Decision letters will be mailed to all applicants. International artists are eligible.
