WACC 132nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition

The Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati, the oldest existing Woman's Art Club operating without interruption in the United States, invites submissions for its 132nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition, running April 4 - May 4, 2025 at the Woman's Art Club Cultural Center (The Barn), 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH 45227.

This exhibition showcases fine art works produced by women from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The jurying process focuses on craftsmanship, color, and composition with an emphasis on diversity in style and subject. Computer-generated art will not be accepted. Jurors are David Mueller (Oil Painters of America Master Signature recipient), Cathy Mayhugh (Director of Exhibitions at Fitton Center for Creative Arts), and Marie Rigney (Independent Art Consultant and Curator).

Eligibility: Women only, at least 18 years of age, residing in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky. Entry fee is $50 for WACC members with current dues or $65 for non-members, covering up to two entries (only one may be accepted). Submission deadline is February 28, 2025. Awards total more than $4,000, with Best of Show Award of $1,500. Work must be original, created within the last three years, not previously shown in a juried exhibition, and must be for sale. A 20% commission from sales is required. All work must be hand-delivered and retrieved in person. Frames are required for most 2-D pieces except gallery-wrap stretched canvas (at least 1.5" deep), wall-mounted pieces designed without frames, and certain other formats. Wall art including frame must not exceed 40" x 40". Sculpture, glass, and 3-D artwork must fit on a 20" x 20" x 39" pedestal. Photography cannot be digitally enhanced, manipulated, or altered. Acceptance notification is March 10, 2025. Delivery dates are April 1-2, with pickup May 5. Exhibition reception and awards presentation are April 6 at 2:00 PM. Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday 10 AM - 2 PM, Saturday-Sunday 1 - 4 PM.
