WACC 127th Annual Exhibition of Women's Art

The Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati, the oldest existing Woman's Art Club operating without interruption in the United States, presents its 127th Annual Juried Art Exhibition from April 5-26, 2020 at the Woman's Art Club Cultural Center, 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH 45227.

This exhibition showcases fine art works produced by women from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The jurying process focuses on craftsmanship, color, and composition with an emphasis on diversity in style and subject. Computer-generated art will not be accepted. The exhibition will be selected by Beth Clary Schwier, an Indiana artist and teacher, and award winners will be selected by Professor Elizabeth Neal, Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Thomas More University and Gallery Director of the Eva G. Farris Gallery.

Eligibility: Women only, at least 18 years of age, residing in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky. Work must be original, created within the last 3 years, and not previously exhibited in a juried exhibition. Maximum two entries per artist (only one may be accepted). All work must be for sale and hand-delivered. A 20% commission from sales is required. Entry fees: $50 for WACC members in good standing as of 12/31/19; $65 for non-members. Entries are submitted online via CAFÉ. Checks must be received by February 28, 2020. Awards total more than $3,500, with Best of Show Award of $1,500. Acceptance notification: March 15. Hand delivery of entries: March 29 (2-4 PM) or March 31 (10 AM-1 PM). Opening reception and awards presentation: April 5 (2-4:30 PM, awards at 3:30 PM). Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday 10 AM-2 PM, Saturday-Sunday 1-4 PM. Closing reception: April 26 (1-4 PM).
