About This Call
Valdosta State University's Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery is reviewing solo and small group exhibition proposals for the 2018-2019 season. The gallery hosts 8 exhibitions per academic year, with 3 time slots available for visiting artists through this call. Artists 18 and older are invited to apply; all media will be considered. The entry fee is $10.
Applicants should submit 10-20 images (up to 6 videos if relevant), a short description of the proposed exhibition, and a list of all participating artists for group exhibitions. Include artist statement(s), artist CV(s), and describe any expenses you would like the gallery to cover, such as shipping. Some stipend money may be available to help with expenses, depending on circumstances and gallery budget. Artwork is insured while in the gallery, and the gallery takes no sales commission.
