Volume and Voice

This is a juried exhibition open to NAWA Signature Members only. Awards include NAWA First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and 2 Honorable Mentions.

Eligibility and Requirements: All works must be for sale. No maximum or minimum size for 3-D works. Artwork that previously won a NAWA award is ineligible for submission to current and future NAWA juried exhibitions. Graphic violence and/or lewd sexual content are prohibited; nudes are acceptable at the discretion of the committee. Price, title, dimensions, and medium of entered work cannot be changed once submitted.

Image Specifications: Submit original, high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to include only the artwork against a plain background, with no visible matting, frames, or background distractions. Ensure images are right-side-up and well-lit. The system will automatically resize images to 300 DPI and 1500 pixels on the longest edge and rename files using your name, title of work, medium, size, and price.

Sales and Commission: NAWA receives 30% commission on all sales; artists receive 70%. PayPal's 3.49% fee is deducted from the gross price (split between artist and NAWA) for works purchased on thenawa.org. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of March 3, 2025. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. After submission and payment, you may log back in to review and edit your entry until the deadline.
