VIVID: A Juried National Exhibition of Vibrant, Bold & Loud Artworks

VIVID is a juried national exhibition featuring artworks from across the country that are exceptionally vibrant, bold, loud, and/or brilliant in color and/or composition. The exhibition is open to all functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in all styles and all mediums. Works cannot exceed 50 pounds or be longer/larger than 60 inches in their longest dimension; size and weight restrictions may be waived by contacting the Gallery Manager prior to submission.

The exhibition will be co-curated by Gallery Director Amanda Bradley and Exhibition Juror Heather Bryant-Warnalis. The exhibition runs Saturday, October 12th through Saturday, November 16th, 2024, with a reception on Friday, October 18th, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The exhibition will also be featured digitally on d'Art Center's archive site. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by email by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 9th, 2024. Accepted works must arrive by 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 submissions, with each additional submission up to 10 total costing $5 each. A $5 media fee also applies. Artists must submit 3-10 images. Awards include 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($150). d'Art Center retains a 60/40 commission on sales (60% artist, 40% gallery). All work must be hang/presentation ready. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels through UPS or FedEx. Works not picked up within one month of the exhibition's end become property of d'Art Center.
