VISIONS OF LOVE

The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) invites artists, photographers, and sculptors of all levels to submit original artwork to this exhibition exploring all forms of love. Artists are invited to present visual interpretations including romantic and selfless love, erotic pleasure, young or mature love, unrequited love, jealous love, self love, and love beyond death. The exhibition also welcomes platonic affection shared by friends, parents' adoration and loving care of children, and devotion to animals. Pictorial symbols and imagery associated with love and passion such as hearts, cupids, and roses are welcome. The exhibition has no restrictions on style and technique; diversity and originality are encouraged. All variations of representational and non-representational art are appropriate. Accepted mediums include painting, watercolor, printmaking, mixed media, digital, pastel, encaustic, sculpture, fiber, drawing, and photography.

The MVA Gallery is located in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, one hour from New York City. Entry deadline is August 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 images, with additional images at $5.00 each up to 9 maximum. Artists must submit 3-9 JPEG images under 5 MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. All images must include title, medium, size, price, and year of completion. Artwork must be professionally finished and ready for installation with stretched wire attached to the back. Maximum dimensions are 48 inches (framed) on the longest side and 45 lbs for paintings; 24 inches on any dimension for sculpture. Photographs should be framed (48 inches maximum) with black or white frames preferred.

Artists will be notified on or about October 16, 2025. Accepted artwork must arrive by November 14, 2025. Exhibition dates are November 20, 2025 through December 31, 2025. Awards include an "Art of Distinction" Award featuring a special exhibition, an Annual Grand Prize offering a New York City exhibition opportunity, and a Director's Choice Award of $200. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance both to and from the gallery. A prepaid return shipping label must be enclosed with all shipped work.
