Visions and Viewpoints

The Fort Collins Lincoln Center invites visual artists living in the United States and working in any media to enter this national juried art exhibit. The exhibition will serve as a catalyst for new ideas, interpretations and understandings of the times in which we live. Submissions in all media are encouraged, including small installations and new media.

Eligibility: Artists 18 years and older, living in the United States, working in any media. Entries must be of the artist's original design, completed in the past two years (since August 2010). Entry fee: $35.00. Work sample requirements: 3 total samples (images and/or video, maximum 3 of each).

Awards: $1,700 in cash prizes, including a first prize of $1,000, will be awarded by Guest Curators Louis Recchia and Zoa Ace. Exhibition dates: November 30, 2012 – January 5, 2013. Notification to artists: November 2, 2012. Delivery of artwork: November 12-16, 2012. Reception: Friday, November 30, 2012, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Return of artwork: Shipped from Lincoln Center by January 18, 2013. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance value while on the premises. Accepted artwork must be shipped installation ready with all hardware included. Only Plexiglas framing is accepted for two-dimensional work. Lincoln Center retains a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition.
