Vision & Viewpoint: IPHF Annual Open Call

Vision & Viewpoint is an open, juried photography competition from the International Photography Hall of Fame. Photographers of all levels of experience are welcome to submit. The competition is juried by Amanda Smith and Kevin Tully, Directors of A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas.

Submission period: May 20 – July 8, 2025. Entry fee is $35 for non-members ($10 per additional image, up to 10 total); first three photos are free for IPHF Photographer's Circle Members. Submissions must be 3-10 images in JPEG format, RGB color mode, with width or height at approximately 1600 pixels. Two-dimensional photographic work derived from traditional or digital processes is eligible if original and never previously exhibited at IPHF. Work created primarily from generative A.I. and three-dimensional work are not eligible. Artists must be 18 years or older.

Awards: Grand Prize $1000, First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place $100. Selected works will be included in an online exhibition at iphf.org. During the open call, Curator Picks will be chosen from each week's submissions and featured on the IPHF website and social media.
