Vision 2050 "Postcards From the Future"

Vision 2050 – Postcards from the Future is a gallery exhibit seeking visual artworks that envision Orange County, Florida in the year 2050. The Orange County Public Art Review Board in conjunction with the Orange County Planning Department invites submissions of finished 2D and 3D artwork pieces. Artists are encouraged to imagine what the County's neighborhoods and rural areas will look like in 30 years, considering how residents will interact, move around, live, work, and play.

The exhibit will be held at the Art in the Atrium Gallery in the Orange County Administration Building (201 S Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL 32801) from March 1-31, 2022. This opportunity is open to both professional and student artists working in any appropriate media. Each artist may submit up to five applications, with a minimum of one image and maximum of three images per entry. Images must not include artist names or watermarks. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with wire installed on the back. Submissions must include artwork name, dimensions, media, year of completion, price, contact information, and an artist statement of 2000 characters or less.

The entry deadline is January 12, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Finalists will be notified on or before January 26, 2022. Artwork delivery is scheduled for February 24, 2022, with an opening event on February 28, 2022. Sales of works are encouraged with no commission charged.
