VisArts' Rockville Arts Festival 2026

The 14th Annual VisArts' Rockville Arts Festival invites artists to showcase original art on May 2-3, 2026. This premier event is produced by VisArts, the largest visual arts center in Montgomery County Maryland, and creates a spectacular outdoor pedestrian gallery on the streets of Rockville Town Square where every booth is a corner. The festival attracts 10-12,000+ high income attendees from the Washington, DC Metro Area and surrounding suburbs of Rockville, Bethesda, and Chevy Chase.

The festival is limited to 130 artists and fine crafters. Application fees are $35 until January 1, 2026, with a late fee of $45 from January 5-19, 2026. Booth fees are $495 for 10'x10' booths and $990 for 10'x20' double corner booths. Artists must submit 4 images of work plus 1 booth image for the jury process. Artistic excellence of original work is the sole criteria for selection, with images reviewed by three art professionals in a blind jury process.

The festival features extensive marketing and PR campaigns including partnerships with 12 Rockville cultural organizations and heavy investment in social media, digital and print media. Security is provided 24 hours by City of Rockville Police, parking is free, and booth sitters are available daily. Liability insurance is required for all artists, with discounted rates available through ACT insurance. Artists must be present during the entire event and may only exhibit work in the category in which they were juried.
