Virtu Art Festival 2025 - 29th Annual

Be a part of something really special - an event that is a time-honored tradition, the 29th Annual Virtu Outdoor Arts Festival. Join us as we present an entire weekend focused on the arts in the beautiful setting of Wilcox Park, where the rich colors of nature in bloom provide a stunning backdrop to the event. We guarantee a first-rate event with live entertainment, and a variety of unique and quality works being exhibited by artists from around the country. Each year, Virtu's attendance tops 20,000.

The show takes place Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 10am-4pm. The application deadline is February 28, 2025 for the first round, with applications continuing to be reviewed and juried on a weekly basis until May 13, 2025 or the show is filled. Categories will fill and close on an individual medium basis, with Jewelry, Pottery and Wood tending to close first. The Jewelry Category is currently full.

Hosted by the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization serving the two-state community of Westerly-Pawcatuck (RI & CT), Virtu's goals are to assemble an exhibition of quality arts that represents a diversity of talents, support the work of artists and provide them with a venue for exposure to a captive audience, promote knowledge of and respect for artistically diverse expression, and exchange hands-on participation in the arts for children.
