About This Call
Viridian Artists presents The 30th Annual International Juried Exhibition. The entry deadline is June 19, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $45 for 3 works, with $5 for each additional work (minimum 3 images, maximum 20). The exhibition will be held from July 16 to August 10, 2019, with an opening reception on Thursday, July 18th from 6-8 p.m. at Viridian Artists' Chelsea gallery space.
The exhibition will consist of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks in all media. Wall-hung work is limited to 60 inches high by 60 inches wide (including frame). Free-standing work may not exceed 30 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 96 inches high. Modular work or installations may be larger. All accepted 2D work must be suitably framed and wired for hanging with Plexiglass only (no glass). Sculptors may be required to supply pedestals where necessary. Complex installations may require the presence of the artist.
The juror is Vernita Nemec, independent curator in New York City and Director of Viridian Artists. Cash awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners. All winners will be part of the group show and listed on Viridian's website. Sales will be encouraged, with the gallery taking a 20% commission. Full-time students are not eligible.
