About This Call
Viridian Artists will hold their 2026 annual HERstory invitational show curated by Vernita Nemec. HERstory is an exhibition dedicated to the experiences, viewpoints, and history of women.
Artists of all genders are invited to submit work that engages with Women's History Month. Submissions should address this year's theme: "commemorating and encouraging the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role of women in American history." Artists are encouraged to reflect on how women's contributions have historically been overlooked and how hard-won rights have been rolled back in recent years.
Artwork must be no larger than 30" in any direction. Submissions must be delivered to Viridian Artists Gallery, 548 W28th St. #632 New York, NY 10001 US between March 3rd and March 8th. Submissions are completed via Google form.
