About This Call
The 41st VWS Juried Exhibition runs from October 31, 2020 through December 31, 2020. The entry deadline is August 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $40.00.
Accepted work includes paintings in watercolor and other water media, including water soluble ink on paper or Yupo. Canvas, digital, computer-generated, and Giclee art are not permitted. If other mediums are used, water-based media must dominate the piece. Collage elements are accepted only if adhered paper pieces are painted in water media by the artist; computer-generated, digital, or printed clippings are not allowed. All entries must have been completed on or after January 1, 2016 and not painted under supervision. Works may not infringe upon another's copyright. If photo references are used, they must be the artist's own photographs. Work previously accepted for VWS juried exhibitions is ineligible.
Submit 1-3 images of your work. Eligibility is regional, limited to Virginia artists.
