Village Arts Festival – Milford, Michigan

The Village Arts Festival is a juried arts festival held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Central Park, Downtown Milford. Presented by the Village Fine Arts Association (VFAA) and the Suzanne Haskew Arts Center (SHAC), this one-day event celebrates exceptional handmade artwork and vendor products while highlighting the village's historic charm and vibrant cultural scene. The festival is designed as an artist-centered event that prioritizes high-quality, original artwork and meaningful interactions between artists and patrons.

All artwork must be handmade by the applying artist. Mass-produced items and resale items are not permitted, though prints of original artwork are allowed. Artists working in multiple mediums must disclose all mediums and include representative images in their application. Each artist receives a 10' x 10' booth space. Artists must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, display materials, weights, and setup equipment. Stakes are not permitted; booths must be secured using sandbags or weights that will not damage park property. Artist setup is from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, and teardown is from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Event sponsors will provide volunteers to assist with transporting supplies to booths.

Booth fees for 2026 are: Early Bird (by end of February) $150, Single Booth $200, Double Booth $375. All booth and application fees are non-refundable. The event is held rain or shine. Artists are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times. Exhibits must match the artwork and information presented in the application. Artists may be held financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their exhibit. The jury process is closed and uses a single panel of 4 jurors who score applications using a Yes, No, or Maybe scale.
