ViewPoint 57

The Cincinnati Art Club invites artists to enter ViewPoint 57, a National Juried Competition and Exhibition open to fine art in all media except photography, video, crafts, fiber, AI or computer-generated art, painting on photos or prints, and jewelry. For 57 years this show has featured high quality, contemporary art. The exhibition will be hosted by ARTclectic Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from October 4 to 25, 2025. The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Eligibility is open to all artists 18 years of age and older. All artwork must be original, completed since January 1, 2023, and for sale. Original work means you created your own composition and made the artwork yourself; your composition is not a copy and is not based on published material or another artist's work. If using a reference photo, you must have taken the photo yourself. Works created in workshops are not eligible. Sculptors may work with a fabricator for bronze or metal casting.

Entry fees are $50 for a single entry, $25 for a second entry, and $25 for a third entry. Use coupon code VP57 to get the 4th entry free. Artwork dimensions must not exceed 48" wide by 48" high (frame included) for framed work, or 36" x 36" x 60" high for free-standing sculpture. Awards include 1st Place ($3,000), 2nd Place ($1,000), 3rd Place ($750), and a Special OKI Award ($500) for artists living in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana. The final judge is Farley Lewis, a nationally known, multiple award-winning artist. A 40 percent commission is payable to the gallery from each sale. Online entry submission runs from May 6 through August 7, 2025. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 2, 2025. Selection results will be emailed by August 30, 2025.
