ViewPoint 55

The Cincinnati Art Club, the second oldest art club in the nation, hosts ViewPoint 55, an open juried exhibition celebrating 55 years of the event. This competition is open to fine art in all media except photography, video, crafts, fiber, computer-generated art, painting on photos, and jewelry. Paintings created in workshops or classes are not accepted. The exhibition runs September 8-30, 2023, at Eisele Gallery in the Village of Mariemont, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, September 8th at 5:00-9:00 PM.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older. All work must be recent (completed since January 2021) and original. All artwork must be for sale with a 50% commission payable to the gallery. Top award winners from 2021 or 2022 (1st, 2nd, 3rd Place) may enter but are ineligible to win those three top awards in 2023. Entrants are eligible for one award only. Framed artwork dimensions cannot exceed 48" wide (frame included) and must be suitably framed and ready for hanging. Free-standing sculpture must not exceed 36" x 36" x 60" high. Wall sculpture must adhere to painting dimensions with a maximum depth of 15".

Entry fees: $50 for a single entry, $25 for second and third entries. Use coupon code VP55 for a free fourth entry. Awards include 1st Place $3,000, 2nd Place $1,000, 3rd Place $750, plus a special $500 OKI Award for artists currently living in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana.
