About This Call
ViewPoint 54 is an open juried exhibition for fine art in all media, except photography, hosted by the Cincinnati Art Club and Eisele Gallery. The exhibition runs September 9 through October 1, 2022, with an opening reception and awards on Friday, September 9, 2022. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM (Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM).
Eligibility: Open to artists 18 years and older. All work must be original as of January 2018 and must be for sale with a 50 percent commission payable from each sale. "Price on Request" is not acceptable. Previous award winners from 2020 or 2021 (1st, 2nd, 3rd Place or Gallery Representation) may enter but are ineligible to win those awards in 2022. Entrants are eligible for one award only. Excluded media include photography, video, crafts, fiber, computer-generated art, painting on photos, jewelry, and paintings created in workshops or classes.
Artwork Requirements: Framed dimensions must not exceed 48" wide (frame included). All work must be suitably framed and ready for hanging using strong screw eyes, D-rings, or mirror hangers and wire. Gallery-wrapped canvas finished and/or painted on all sides is acceptable. Artwork requiring glazing should use Plexiglas or other plastic glazing. Free standing sculpture must not exceed 36" x 36" x 60" high and must be stable or attached to a stable base. Wall sculpture must adhere to the same dimensions and framing as paintings and is limited to a depth of 15".
Entry Fees: $50 for a single entry, $25 for a second entry, $25 for a third entry. Use coupon code VP54 to get the 4th entry free. Payment can be made online or by check payable to Cincinnati Art Club, mailed to: Cincinnati Art Club, ViewPoint 54 Entry, 1021 Parkside Place, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
Awards: 1st Place $3,000, 2nd Place $1,000, 3rd Place $750, plus additional cash and in-kind awards to be announced.

Selection results will be emailed by August 5, 2022 and publicized on the Cincinnati Art Club website by August 8, 2022. Shipped works are due at Eisele Gallery by September 1, 2022.
