ViewPoint 53

ViewPoint 53 is an open juried exhibition for fine art in all media, except photography, hosted by the Cincinnati Art Club. Now in its 53rd year, the exhibition celebrates the club's history as the second oldest art club in the nation. The exhibit will be hosted by Art Design Consultants and will be open Tuesday through Saturday from September 17th through October 22nd, 2021, with the opening reception and awards on Friday, September 17, 2021.

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and older. All work must be original as of January 2018 and must be for sale. A 50 percent commission is payable from each sale. "Price on Request" is not acceptable. The following media are excluded: photography, crafts, fiber, computer-generated art, painting on photos, and jewelry. Paintings created in workshops or classes are not accepted. A top award winner from 2019 or 2020 (1st, 2nd, 3rd Place or Gallery Representation) is acceptable but will be ineligible to win one of those awards in 2021. Entrants are eligible for one award only.

Entry fees are $50.00 for a single entry, $25.00 for a second entry, and $25.00 for a third entry. Use coupon code VP53 to get the 4th entry free. Awards include 1st Place $3,000.00, 2nd Place $1,000.00, 3rd Place $750.00, plus additional cash and in-kind awards to be announced. Framed artwork dimensions shall not exceed 48" wide (frame excluded) and must be suitably framed and ready for hanging. Free standing sculpture must not exceed 36" x 36" x 60" high. Wall sculpture must adhere to the same dimensions as paintings and is limited to a depth of 15". Selection results will be emailed by Friday, August 6th, 2021.
