About This Call
Ridge Art Association presents the Victor Smith Law Group Central Park Art Festival, held in Central Park Downtown Winter Haven, Florida. Now in its 50th year, this juried fine arts festival features both nationally recognized artists and emerging talent. The festival takes place February 13-14, 2027, with artist setup on Friday, February 12 after 2:00 PM. All artists must be fully set up and vehicles removed to designated parking areas by 8:30 AM on Saturday, February 13. Artists who close their exhibit before 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 14 will be disqualified from future festivals.
Festival fees include a $38 jury fee (non-refundable), $198 for a single booth, or $395 for a double booth. Booth fees are refundable until January 20, 2027. Awards include Best of Show ($3,500), Judge's Choice (2 awards at $1,000 each), Awards of Excellence (5 at $500 each), Awards of Merit (5 at $200 each), and Honorable Mention (5 at $100 each). Purchase awards are also offered.
Artists may exhibit in the following media categories: 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Furniture, Glass, Jewelry, Painting (Oil/Acrylic), Painting (Watercolor), Photography, Sculpture, Wood, and Special. All artwork must be original, created within the last five years, and signed by the artist. Handcrafted work must be produced entirely by the artist and may not be made from commercial kits, molds, patterns, or plans. Items not eligible include crocheting, knitting, picture frames, manufactured items, jewelry made from kits, ceramics cast from commercial molds, posters, greeting cards, t-shirts, and similar merchandise. Artists must be present and personally staff their exhibit space for the entire duration of the festival. Only white tents are permitted and must be secured with 40-pound weights on each leg. No pets are allowed. Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting and remitting 7% Florida Sales Tax on all sales.
