Vibrant & Bold

R Gallery, a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado, is seeking artwork for the "Vibrant & Bold" exhibition. The gallery focuses on Colorado artists working in all styles and mediums. This exhibition looks for artwork which primarily relies on color, contrast, and shape to create works which are expressive, captivating, and exciting.

The exhibition will run October 6 through November 7, 2021. The submission deadline is September 5, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Eligible categories include Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Mixed-Media. Applicants must be Colorado residents, and all entries must be of original design and personal execution. The entry fee is $25.00 with an additional $5.00 media fee. Submissions should include 1-20 images.

Accepted works must arrive no later than October 3, 2021. Notification of acceptance will be sent by September 9. An artists' reception will be held Friday, October 8 from 6-8 p.m. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale at a reasonable price for the local market. R Gallery charges a 50% commission on sales unless otherwise stated in artist agreements. Work will be returned by November 17, 2021. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier.
