Vanishing World 2024

Exhibizone presents Vanishing World 2024, an annual online international group exhibition inviting artists to share visual interpretations of a disappearing world. This competition celebrates artworks that capture the essence of vanishing environments and cultures, exploring narratives of loss, transition, and hope. The theme encompasses a wide array of subjects including endangered species, disappearing landscapes, fading traditions, urban decay, cultural heritage, and human emotions in the face of change. All abstract and non-representational art in any 2D and 3D medium is welcome, with submission free of charge.

Artists may submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 accepted per artist. Selected artworks will be showcased in the online exhibition from November 16, 2024, to January 16, 2025. If selected, artists pay a USD 35 selection fee, protected by a money-back guarantee until the exhibition's official opening day. Eligible artists include all visual artists worldwide creating original work in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, installation, crafts, jewelry, fiber art, and mixed media, among other categories.

Selected artworks receive multiple benefits including promotion on ARTSY (the largest global community of art collectors), publication in an online exhibition catalogue, permanent exhibition links for lifetime visibility, artwork reviews from visitors, promotional badges, analytics reports, and potential publication in magazines and books within the Biafarin art network. Each selected artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform and a digital certificate. The jury process uses a two-phase selection: initial Yes/No selection followed by scoring from 1 to 10 by jury members, with highest-scoring artworks selected.
