About This Call
Art on the Rockies presents Vail Fine Arts August 14, 15, & 16 in Lionshead Village, Vail, Colorado. This is the 7th year exhibiting in the famous Rocky Mountain community of Vail, a lush summer vacation spot for affluent, local, and national buyers. The festival runs Friday through Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm each day, showcasing 60 fine artists from around the country with free admission. All booths will be on pavement in 2026.
The jury is conducted by a panel of three art professionals, plus a judge specific to jewelry, with up to 55 artists selected to exhibit. Each juror assigns points from 1-5 for each five-image presentation based on excellence in concept, quality, workmanship, and aesthetics. Artists with the highest totals in each category are selected. Applications require 4 images including a required booth shot, with no application fee and emerging artists accepted.
Exhibit fees are $800 for a single booth space (10x10) and $1600 for a double space (20x10), with booth assignments made upon receipt of payment. Artists must provide their own tents, tables, and display materials for the outdoor environment. Tent weights of 50lbs on each corner are required. Payment is due July 1st, 2026, and can be made by check to Vail Valley Arts League, P.O. Box 644, Eagle, CO 81631, or by Venmo and credit card through [email protected].
