About This Call
ISEA is hosting "Utterly Profound 2024," an online juried exhibition for ISEA members only. The exhibition will be held online at the ISEA SmugMug site on November 15, 2024.
Eligibility: Members in good standing with current dues paid may submit one original experimental artwork in any two-dimensional, three-dimensional sculpture, or video work completed within the past three years. Work may not have been shown in any previous ISEA online or venue-based exhibitions, and works completed in a workshop are not eligible. ISEA and/or the venue reserve the right to refuse any artwork that promotes exploitation or hatred.
Submission Requirements: Entry fee is $25.00. Submissions are accepted October 15-31, 2024 through the CaFE website. Image files must be JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5MB. Sculpture must include two views. Video files may be MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, or M2TS format, under 100MB, and no longer than 10 minutes. Artists must provide a short statement (1000 characters or less) explaining why their artwork is experimental. Jury dates are November 3-10, 2024.
Awards: First Place $1500 (image will be used in advertising next year's exhibition), Second Place $1000, Third Place $750, Fourth Place $500, Juror Award $250, and five Merit Awards of $100 each. Juror is C.W. Carson. Inclusion in this exhibition counts toward ISEA Signature, Nautilus, or Master status.
