Utterly Profound 2023 - ISEA Members Only Juried Online Exhibition

ISEA is hosting "Utterly Profound 2023," an online juried exhibition for ISEA members in good standing with current dues paid. The exhibition will be held online at the ISEA SmugMug site on November 15, 2023.

Eligible artists may submit one original experimental artwork in any media, including photography, sculpture, or video, completed within the last three years and not previously shown in any ISEA online or venue-based exhibitions. The entry fee is $25.00. Entries are accepted from October 15 through October 31, 2023. Submissions must be made through the CaFE website at www.callforentry.org. For images, file type must be JPEG or JPG only with dimensions of 1800 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 5MB. Sculpture submissions must include two views. Video files may be MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, or M2TS format, under 100MB, with a maximum length of 10 minutes. When registering, artists must provide a short statement (1000 characters or less) explaining why their artwork is experimental.

Jury dates are November 3-10, 2023. Award juror is Lyndal Osborne. Awards include: First Place $1500, Second Place $1000, Third Place $750, Fourth Place $500, Juror Award $250, and five Merit Awards of $100 each. The first place image will be used in advertising for next year's exhibition. Inclusion in this exhibition counts toward ISEA Signature, Nautilus, or Master status. By entering, artists agree that ISEA may display their work and information on ISEA digital sites, social media accounts, and future advertisements with proper attribution.
