Utah Arts Festival 2027

The 51st annual Utah Arts Festival takes place June 24-27, 2027, at Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City. The festival attracts 35,000+ attendees and generates over $1 million in art sales, featuring four days of fine arts in the artist marketplace, music performances, dance, literary and street theater performances on various stages, an internationally recognized short film program, urban arts program, children's art yard with free make-and-take projects, demonstrating artists, workshops, and culinary options.

The festival is open to all artists within accepted medium categories including 2-D and 3-D mixed media, ceramics, digital art, drawings/pastels, fiber, glass, graffiti/street art, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, metalwork, painting, photography and digital photography, sculpture, wearable art, and wood. All work must be original and handcrafted by the artist; work generated by or with assistance of Artificial Intelligence is prohibited. No work from commercial molds, kits, or manufactured work will be accepted. Artists must be present with their work for the entire four days, and participation in any previous Utah Arts Festival does not guarantee acceptance.

Application deadline is February 25, 2027. Applicants must submit four images and a $45 jury fee. Jury decisions are notified March 12. Booth rental fee is due April 9, with a final withdrawal date of April 23 for refunds. Artist check-in and booth setup occurs June 23. Show hours are Thursday 5pm-11pm, Friday-Saturday Noon-11pm, and Sunday Noon-11pm (with optional earlier closings available).
