About This Call
Gallerium announces the 2nd annual UPs and DOWNs 2025, an international juried exhibition, publication, and sales event celebrating contrasts and nuances in life. This art call invites visual artists worldwide to share creative interpretations of ups and downs in nature, everyday life, human emotions, and conceptual ideas. Artists may explore themes including landscapes, seascapes, skies and celestial scenes, cityscapes, architectural structures, still-life representations, emotional and situational contrasts, abstract and conceptual explorations, mythological and fantasy themes, the human condition, and technological innovations. All 2D and 3D art mediums are welcome—abstract, representational, or mixed-media.
Submission is free of charge. Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Only jury-selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40 (or USD 34 with early bird discount). A money-back guarantee applies until the exhibition's official opening. The jury process uses two phases: Yes/No selection followed by scoring from 1 to 10 by jury members, with highest-scoring artworks in the "Yes" group selected.
Selected artworks will be exhibited in the international online exhibition from March 19 to May 19, 2025. Benefits include exhibition on Gallerium's platform, potential publication in The Book of Arts, promotion on ARTSY, inclusion in an exhibition catalogue, up to 10 Honorable Mention Artist Awards with digital certificates, permanent online presence with artist profiles, downloadable exhibition posters, promotional badges, visitor feedback and ratings, comprehensive promotional campaign, performance analytics reports, complimentary professional artist profile on Biafarin platform, and digital certificate of participation.
