Unwavering Resolve

Chelsie Nicole Contemporary invites artists to submit work for the exhibition "Unwavering Resolve." The gallery seeks submissions that embody endurance in the face of challenges, bravery in unity, and the courage to either press forward or stand still amidst uncertainty. Inspired by the notion that quiet understanding gives birth to fierce determination, this exhibition explores themes of strength and commitment through art that encourages introspection and solidarity.

Artists may submit up to three 2D works in traditional drawing or painting media including charcoal, graphite, pastel, mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Maximum artwork size is 24 x 36 inches and must weigh less than 30 lbs. Artwork must be original, created from references taken by the artist, or with written permission from the photographer. No computer-generated artwork or painting over photographs will be accepted. All works on paper must be framed behind acrylic. Entry fee is $25 for the first work and $10 for each additional entry. Artists may submit 1-3 images of their work.

Accepted works will be exhibited from September 19 to November 10, 2025, with an opening reception on Saturday, September 20, 2025, 5-8 PM and artist awards announcement at 6:30 PM. Finalist artwork must be delivered by Friday, September 5, 2025. Awards include First Place: $1,000, Second Place: $600, Third Place: $400, and a Fine Art Connoisseur Ad Award (valued at $4,300), plus People's Choice and possible Purchase Award. Jurors are David Kassan and Shana Levenson. All entries must be for sale. Chelsie Nicole Contemporary retains a 30% commission on all works sold during the exhibition; artists receive 70%. Entry deadline is July 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Finalist announcement is August 15, 2025.
