[untitled] 3, a juried exhibition

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and over. All works must be original and completed in the last three years and not previously exhibited at Athens Arts Gallery. Artists may submit up to 3 works in 2D or 3D formats, including sculpture, photography, painting, printmaking, digital art, fiber, mixed media, drawings, and pottery. All works must be for sale and maintenance free.

Maximum dimensions for 2D works are 4' x 4' including frame with a weight limit of 50 pounds. All 2D work must be framed (unless gallery wrapped) with wire hangers. Maximum dimensions for 3D works are 4'H x 3' x 3' with a weight limit of 100 pounds. Detailed descriptions of media and support materials must be provided on entry forms, including specific processes and edition numbers for prints and photographs.

The entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable). Digital submissions must be JPEG/JPG format under 5MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Entries are due by midnight MST on August 6, 2023. The exhibition runs September 15 through November 11, 2023. Shipped works should arrive August 28-September 8, and in-person delivery is September 9-10. The opening reception and awards presentation is Saturday, September 16, 2023, 6:00-8:30 p.m. Awards include $1000 Best of Show plus other monetary awards up to $3000. The gallery retains a 40% commission on all sales. Juror: Gerburg Garmann.
